Bio

Megan is a veterinarian and PhD candidate in epidemiology. Her research focuses on southern sea otters, heart disease, and marine harmful algal blooms. Her previous research involved the Santa Catalina Island fox, assessing the impact of ear mite treatment on ear tumor development. Her goal is to integrate disease investigation with population biology and environmental drivers to inform species conservation.
