About the One Health Institute at UC Davis

Our mission is to solve complex problems at the interface of animals, people, plants, and the environment impacting health and conservation

The One Health Institute at UC Davis is active all over the world, working at the interface of animals, people, plants and the environment to solve complex problems that impact health and conservation. The Institute grew out of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine’s deep commitment to the One Health approach.

The One Health Institute operates as an interconnected series of Centers, Laboratories, Programs and Projects - each of which secures its own diverse funding sources and creates its own operational frameworks for solving unique challenges while contributing to the global scope of the One Health Institute mission.
