Envirovet’s objective is to incorporate a One Health approach into veterinary professionals’ training, namely focusing on improving ecosystem health at the human-animal interface.
Key Findings
- A questionnaire was administered to past program participants and results indicated that Envirovet was successful in instilling One Health values that were then incorporated in their work
- Final evaluations from participants indicated that the close relationships developed among colleagues across allied disciplines (veterinary, medical, and ecosystem health) is what made this program a success
