Biden-⁠Harris administration marks progress on one year anniversary of the Global Health Worker Initiative

The OHI-led One Health Workforce-Next Generation project was highlighted in a White House briefing last week on the one year anniversary of the Biden-Harris Global Health Worker Initiative:

In FY 2022, our USAID-funded project continued its partnership with the Africa One Health University Network and the Southeast Asia One Health University Network, supporting workforce development in 120 universities across 17 countries in Africa and Southeast Asia. A

dditionally in the past year, the project helped train over 7,000 health workers to prevent, detect, and respond to global health security threats.
